Dr. Eason Lin is currently the Professor at the Graduate Institute of Human Resource and Knowledge Management, National Kaohsiung Normal University, Taiwan. He was a research assistant professor at Division of Infectious Disease, Department of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh (2000 ~ 2001), and a visiting professor at University of Pittsburgh (2013 ~ 2016). His professional expertise is in the area of hospital-acquired infections control, design and marketing of medical devices, and big data application in medicine.
Dr. Lin was awarded as “Extinguished Researcher” (2010 ~2012) by Ministry of Science and Technology, TAIWAN; “Young International Affair Advocate” (2010) by Executive Yuan, TAIWAN; “Research Achievement Award” by National Kaohsiung Normal University. Dr. Lin has served as expert consultant at Taiwan CDC Nosocomial Infections Committee and numerous healthcare organizations; He also participated in evaluation & accreditation for Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF ISO 17025) and Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan.
Dr. Lin has received training in Capital Markets, Corporate Governance, M&A (by Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance), and IFRS Standards, Startup Design, and Big Data in FinTech (by Taipei Stock Exchange). He offers undergrad and graduate courses in “Introduction to Economics”, “Business Ethics”, “Strategic Competition in Knowledge Management”, and “Marketing-oriented Human Resource Management”.
Dr. Lin graduated from National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan (1990). He received his graduate education from the Swanson School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh (MS. 1995, PhD. 1999) and MBA degree from Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh (1999).
